2022 – Year of the Gnome

We are planning on the meetups at the Tybout House for the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month at 1pm. Come to one or all or join us via Facebook Live. They should be about an hour get together with a 30-minute live session at the beginning.

Winter Class Closing Policy: We will call or text you one hour before the start of a class if we plan to cancel. Please use your own discretion about driving. If we cancel we will reschedule the class so that you do not loose your class fee.

Participate in one or both Knit Along  

From:   1:00 – 3:00 on Adult Fiber Frolic Saturdays
There will be a $10 fee for printed pattern.

 Yarn needed:  Fingering Weight – 1 skein                                     
*Campsite Cardi KAL   designed by Alicia Plummer
Yarn needed:  DK Weight (Depending on size)

Winter Fiber Frolic Kit of the Month Club

Additional monthly kits can be obtained for a one-time price of $25 for three more kits with a new project each time.

If you enjoyed the felting project or the wool applique you could get three additional kits for the next 3 months for $25 or $50 for both. Just indicate which craft kits you want or both. It will be ready for you to pick up at the Tybout House on the first of each month.

*Second Saturday of the Month (Jan. to Apr.)
2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

March 12            Saint Patrick’s Day Pin – needle felting project
This will be a practice in needle felting. Students will learn the basics of needle felting while making a shamrock pin using a cookie cutter to make the shape.

April 9                  Punch Needle Project|
Punch needle embroidery, a member of the rug hooking family, is often referred to as painting with thread. With embroidery, your embroidery needle and floss penetrate the fabric in a variety of shapes and textures. With punch needle, your tool pierces the fabric on one side and leaves a loop on the other.

*Fourth Saturday of the month from (Jan. to Apr.)
10:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Class Fee per session:    $35 including kits       Lunch:  $5.00

March 26 – Easter Eggs for the Basket
Needle Felted Eggs with a yarn core       
Kit Includes: yarn & roving

April 23 – Blocking Projects Demonstration
Finishing Technique – Blocking

Wanted: Craft Instructors

WOULD YOU LIKE TO TEACH THE CRAFT YOU ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT TO OTHERS?
We are looking for people who would be interested in teaching classes that are fiber or craft related.  Instructors would have the use of our classroom, tables and chairs.  If we have the materials available that you plan to use in the Tybout House inventory, we will give the members of the class a 10% discount during the class time.
 
*Our staff will deal with the reservations for your class, 
*Advertise your class in the the Warren Times Observer and Post Journal,
*Send an announcement out on our email mailing list,
*Post on Facebook, and
*List it on our  website at https://tybouthouse.com.
